Our Location

Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is located at 303 East Wood Street in Paris, Illinois. This elegant historic home was built as a single-family residence in 1875. During the 1930's, local funeral director Wayne Blume purchased the home and moved his business to this location. The ornate fireplace, leaded glass windows, crystal chandeliers, and detailed woodwork throughout the building create a warm and homey atmosphere. Over the years, renovations and updates have been made, always maintaining the original beauty of the home. Our comfortable and elegantly decorated facility offers a large chapel with a private family seating area, a family lounge, and off-street parking. The main entrances as well as the rear entrance are both handicap accessible. For many of our families, a meaningful way to help celebrate their loved one's life is through music. At Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, we offer an audio surround sound system for recorded and vocal music, and we are proud to meet the approval of the American Guild of Organists with our Rodgers digital pipe organ. Through the many years that we have served our community we have made various changes and improvements to our funeral home. It is our goal to accommodate the families we serve in a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere.
