William H. Lade, 83, of Paris, IL died 4:10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 28, 2009 in Paris Healthcare Center, Paris. William was born to the late William L. Lade and the late Ida Ponto Lade July 21, 1926 in Martinton. He was a mechanic and an instructor in a trade school. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Paris and instrumental in starting the Paris Southern Baptist Church. William was a member of the Gideons International. He served in the U.S. Army Air during the Korean War from 1948 to 1952.
William married the former Ermalene C. Kohler, December 3, 1984 in Henderson, KY and she survives. He is also survived by his son William Lade and his step son Ralph S. Lade both of Wisconsin, his brothers Delmer Lade of Essex, Lloyd Lade of Bonfield and Joseph Lade of Leroy, his sister Nelda Garrett of Kankakee and his two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers.
According to his wishes his body was donated to scientific study and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Gideons International in care of the funeral home.
