Wilma Jean Vice, age 85 of Chrisman, Illinois passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 surrounded by family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Embarrass Cemetery.

Wilma was born on August 6, 1938 in Paris, Illinois to Clifford and Evelyn (Henry) Rollings. She married Thomas E. Vice Sr. on February 15, 1963. He preceded her in death.

Wilma served her country as a member of the Women's Army Corps.

She was a longtime member of the Paris Christian Church. Wilma was also a longtime and active member of the Paris American Legion and V.F.W. She was a homemaker and above all else, was very proud to be a mom and loved raising her children.

She is survived by her children: Mark Anthony Rollings of Orlando, Florida, Daniel Ray (Connie) Vice of Kansas, Illinois, Thomas Edward (Jeannie) Vice Jr. of Mattoon, Illinois, Rebecca (Gregory) Hanner of Chrisman, Illinois; her 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren; and her sisters Barbara P. Rollings of Paris, Illinois, and Shirley (Bob) Sandlin of Westville, Illinois.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, her son: Allen Dale Vice, her parents, and 3 brothers.
