Wilma Louise Cartright age 83, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 10:19 P.M. on Sunday July 12, 2020 at her son's home in Spring, Texas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday July 20, 2020 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday July 20, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the state regulation of 50 visitors with masks allowed inside the funeral home and at the cemetery. Everyone is welcome, but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects will be able to do so.  She was born July 13, 1936 in Trilla, Illinois, the daughter of the late William Edward and Flora Bernice (Hardesty) Stephens.  Wilma married Arlie Estell Cartright September 21, 1958 in Mattoon, Illinois; he preceded her in death on June 10, 2018.  She was a homemaker. Wilma is survived by her children; Stephen Lee (Robin Bennett) Cartright of Paris, Illinois,  Benjamin Robert (Patricia Stieger) Cartright of Spring, Texas, John Peter (Mary Culver) Cartright of Denton, Texas,  her siblings; Bonnie Bernice (Wilbert) Stephens Beals of Lerna, Illinois, Patty Darlene (Mike) Stephens Dixon of Grand Rivers, Kentucky, Edward Joe (Marynelle) Stephens of Mattoon, Illinois, 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, she was preceded in death by her parents; William Edward and Flora Bernice (Hardesty) Stephens, her husband; Arlie Estell Cartright, her son; Paul William Cartright, her daughter; Janice Lynette Cartright and three grandchildren; Carl Dean Wallace, Stephanie Denae Carlette Wallace and Carlita Jenelle Wallace and her sister; Connie Linn (Stephens) Stodden.
