William Jeffery "Jeff" Adams's Obituary

William Jeffery "Jeff" Adams, 54, of Paris, IL, passed away at Horizon Health on January 15, 2026.

Per Jeff's wishes, no services will be held. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jeff was born on May 5, 1971, to William Dennis and Joyce Kay (Jeffery) Adams in Terre Haute, IN, the oldest of two children. He graduated from Paris High School in 1989. He spent ten years working at Art Reese Lumber, and he went on recently to become a manager at Neal Tire in Paris, where he led his team in recording the highest sales in the company in 2025.

In 2016, he met Rebecca "Becky" Ann (Vice) Adams, spending the next ten years happily raising their children together and falling in love. The two were married on April 2, 2022.

Jeff will be remembered as a deeply devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother, and son. He was a lover of sports and spent eight years as a little league coach for his son, Michael's, baseball team; twelve years as a PGSA coach for his daughters, Sydni's and Jocelyn's, softball teams; also supporting his daughter, Jessica's, time as a cheerleader; his daughter, Jocelyn's, time in tennis, track, and volleyball; and his grandson's soccer games. He loved to spend time with his family and could often be found enjoying his mother's cooking or tinkering on cars with his father, his brother, and his son. He was a dedicated grandfather, relishing times when he could sit on the ground and build Lego sets with his grandsons. He shared a love of Star Wars with his younger brother, Brian, and Harry Potter with his wife, Becky. Outside of his family, he was a super fan of Chicago sports teams, most of all the Cubs. All who knew Jeff will miss his kindness, his patience, and his sense of humor.

Jeff was predeceased by his father, Denny. He is survived by a loving family who admired him deeply: his mother, Joyce; his brother, Brian (Kelli) Dennis Adams; his children, Jessica (Joe) Marie Wagner, William Michael Adams, Sydni Nicole Adams, and Jocelyn Olivia Adams; his grandchildren, Jack and Jonah; and his beloved wife, Becky, along with their dearly-loved cats and dogs.

In lieu of flowers to the family, he would have liked to have been memorialized through donations to Food for Kids, which packs lunch for children in need. Those who knew Jeff will agree that he loved all children, especially his own. The details for donations are listed below.
