William Randall Entrican,77, of Chrisman, formerly of Paris, passed away Nov. 26, 2024, at his daughter Cynthia's home in  Bloomington Ind., comforted by his family and friends.

Memorial service has been scheduled for 12:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the V.F.W. in Paris, Illinois. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Kansas, Illinois. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #211. The family is being assisted by Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home for graveside service and Allen Funeral Home.

Mr. Entrican is survived by his sister Dori Allen (Steve) of Paris; Sister-in-law, Charla (Jeanie) Entrican (Doyle) of Paris; daughters, Amy Perez (George) of Terre Haute Ind., Kristina Opalesky of Arvada Colo. and Cynthia Koessler (Kevin) of Bloomington Ind.; grandchildren, Justin Miller, Maya Bowman, Colby Opalesky, Juliana Opalesky and Laurelle Kattie, and niece and nephew Jennifer Sumner and Josh Sumner.

He was preceded in Death by his father, Olin Entrican; Mother, Dollie Entrican and brother Doyle  Entrican.

Mr. Entrican was born on Oct. 14, 1947, in  Paris, the eldest son of Olin and Dollie (Furry) Entrican. He graduated from Paris High School in 1965 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in the Vietnam War.

After his time in the Navy, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served at the Communications Center in Homestead Florida. After leaving the service, he worked at the National Guard Armory in Paris, the U.S. Post Office in  Mattoon and Meco Inc. in Paris.

Mr. Entrican enjoyed music, sports cars and motorcycles as a young man. He was a member of Horace Baptist Church of Chrisman.
