William "Bill" Edgar Malone Sr., age 70 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 11, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #211.

Bill was born on March 9, 1954 in Paris, Illinois to Wesley Eugene and Mary Jane (Peebles) Malone. He married Diana Dee in Paris, Illinois on July 18, 1992 and she survives.

Bill proudly served his country as a member in the United States Army National Guard. He worked for Cadillac in Paris for 11 years. Bill was also a longtime member of the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, his children: Cheri Cox (Larry), William Malone Jr., Jeremy Eugene Malone (Carri), Allen Sitkiewicz, April Gann; several grandchildren, one great grandchild on the way; and his siblings: Dave Malone, Richard Malone, Frank Lee Malone, Marian Brown, Ethel Bristow, and Ruth Kirby.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Patrick Michael, Gloria, Carolyn, Mary, Katherine, and Virginia.
