Wendell E. Haddix Jr., age 83 of Paris, passed away peacefully at Paris Health and Rehab Center on January 31, 2025 at 1:25 PM.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery.

He was the son of the late Wendell E. Haddix Sr. and Alberta Haddix of Paris.

Survivors include his son Eric Haddix of Paris, former wife Martha Pine Haddix of Paris, two brothers: Steve and Joe (Darlene) of Indiana, sister Sherryl Inman of Kansas, IL. Other survivors include grandchildren: Justin Gossett, Samantha Haddix, Chase (Jenny Millage) Haddix, Michael Haddix, and Jackie Haddix, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Wendell Douglas Haddix, and his brother, Terry Haddix.

Wendell was an avid reader, exceptional artist, euchre and chess player. He loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his bike. He always had a smile, wave and a hug for everyone he met.
