Wayne B. Hall's Obituary
Wayne B. Hall, age 96 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Twin Lakes Rehab and Health Care Center, Paris, Illinois. He was the owner and operator of Wayne Hall Roofing and Siding Company. Mr. Hall was a United States Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 211 and the Paris Bicentennial Art Center. Born February 14, 1919 in Oliver, Illinois, he was the son of the late Ernest B. and Lucy Jane (Murphy) Hall. He married Thelma Gertrude (Myers) Hall August 9, 1940 in Owensboro, Kentucky, she survives. Other survivors include a daughter Linda Hall and her fiancée Jim Cash of Paris, Illinois. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Neswinder and Maxine Hall and a brother Allen Eugene Hall. Visitation for Mr. Hall will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Edgar Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 211 and VFW Post 3601. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paris Bicentennial Art Center.
