Waunitta "Sis" Hiatt, age 87, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 2:34 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She was born in Paris, Illinois on April 22, 1934. The daughter of the late Frank L. Wallace and Flossie F. Anderson. She married Donald L. "Buck" Hiatt on June 17, 1955 in Paris, a marriage spanning 66 years. He survives.

Waunitta was a secretary for the Illinois Cereal Mill, and member of the Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the American Legion 211 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children: Marty (Sandy) Hiatt of Marshall, Illinois, Terry Hiatt of Paris, Illinois, Cheryl (Karl) Farnham of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren: Kortnie (Scott) Murray of Bridgeport, Illinois, Chelsey (Bryan) Schallenberg of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Ashlee (Landon) Hiatt of Paris, Illinois, Logan Farnham (Jenn) of Paris, Illinois; her great grandchildren Brody English, Ella Arnold, Leila Arnold, McKinlee Shewey, Dalton Murray, Chase Murray, and Hannah Murray.

Waunitta is preceded in death by her brother Robert L. Wallace.

She enjoyed meeting with her Cereal Mill friends for lunch, having coffee with her BK friends, and spending time with her high school friend up until passing. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing.
