Virginia D. Furnish age 94 of Paris, IL passed away at 11:45 a.m., Thursday December 31, 2020 at Horizon Health, Paris Community Hospital. A private graveside service will be in Embarrass Cemetery near Redmon, IL. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Rebekah Circle of the church, served as treasurer of the Cub Scouts and volunteered at the Food Pantry.

Virginia was an inspector at T.R.W. in Marshall, IL for 30 years

She was born December 27, 1926 in Brownstown, IL the daughter of the late Rev. John W. and Lavon (Sloan) Hartsaw.

Virginia is survived by her children: Linda and her husband Bob Murphy of Wood Dale, IL, Carole and her husband John Halloran of Paris, IL, George and his wife Jill Furnish of Paris, IL and Larry Furnish the husband of late Becky Cunningham Furnish of Geneva, IL; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her son: Howard Furnish; her brothers: Ralph Hartsaw and Paul Hartsaw, and her daughter-in-law Becky.
