Virginia M. Davis, age 92, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 3:36p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Horizon Health in Paris.

A visitation will be held from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 10:00a.m. at Grandview cemetery.

She was born October 27, 1929 in Sanford, Indiana, the daughter of the late John and Ella Ann Long Owens. She married Roger R. Davis on August 18, 1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He preceded her in death.

Virginia worked at Zenith for many years. She was also a longtime member of Lake Ridge Christian Church in Paris, Illinois. She loved playing piano, euchre, and playing music with her friends.

She is survived by her children: Steve (Mary Lou) Davis of Paris, Illinois, Dean Davis of Paris, Illinois, Mike (Vonnie) Davis of Paris, Illinois, Anita (John) Reuter of Oakland, Tennessee, Robert Davis of Paris, Illinois; her 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; her 4 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild.

Virginia is preceded in death by her siblings; Jim, John, Thelma, Mary; 2 daughters in law; Mary Hart Davis and Loretta Kemper Davis.
