Virginia Sue (Spencer) Cunningham traveled her final path May 24, 2022 at Horizon Health Hospital in Paris, Illinois surrounded by family members.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Edgar Cemetery in Paris. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Virginia (Ginny) was born December 29, 1938 to the late William and Julia (Blockinger) Spencer.  She married the love of her life Bobby Cunningham on August 16, 1958.  They were happily married until his death on January 9, 2000.

Ginny and Bob lived in Danville, Illinois until his retirement, after which they set up home in the town of Chrisman, Illinois.

Ginny is survived by several nieces and nephews and by a village of dear neighbors, who loved her very much.  She will be remembered as the sweet little "Grinch", who was always just a phone call away.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Bill, Vernie, Fred, George, Donnie, and Bobbie Spencer, and 4 sisters, Alice Harrison, Barbara Enzroth, Anabelle Hickman, and Stella Gosnell.
