Tonya K. Mayo, age 49 of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Union County, Illinois, with her granddaughter Haley Nicole Mayo, as a result of an automobile accident. She was a homemaker. Born October 29, 1967 in Paris, Illinois, she was the daughter of Larry G. Bishop and Emily (Paprotske) Bishop. Survivors include her mother Emily Bishop of Paris, Illinois, two daughters, Samantha (Blake Baxley) Mayo of Allendale, Illinois and Jessica (Laci Jeffries) Mayo of Paris, Illinois, one son Scott (Brittany) Day of Knox, Pennsylvania, four siblings; Jimmy Bishop of Pennsylvania, Kelly Zuber of Pennsylvania, Larry G. (Juli) Bishop, Jr. of Greenup, Illinois, and Luke (Peggy) Bishop of Charleston, Illinois, and three grandchildren; Forrest Day of Pennsylvania, and Gracie and Nova Baxley, both of Allendale, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father. Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
