Tonua Rae Budd, age 52, of Avondale, Arizona passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home with burial in Casey Cemetery in Casey, Illinois.

Tonua was born on September 5, 1970, in Paris, Illinois to Richard Duana and Virginia Ann (Moffitt) Budd.

She was caregiver. She was also a member of the Paris First Church of the Nazarene. Tonua enjoyed swimming and spending time with her family, as well as fashion and nice clothes.

She is survived by her children: Dustin Budd of Terre Haute, Indiana, Destiny Wright of Winterhaven, Florida Zack Wright of Winterhaven, Florida; her siblings: Richard Budd of Paris, Illinois, Darla Hess of Terre Haute, Indiana, Penny Bryan of Paris, Illinois, Christi Daugherty of West Terre Haute, Indiana; and two grandchildren.

Tonua is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
