Tina Marie Hampsten, age 59 of Paris, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at her residence. She was employed by Elledge Insurance Agency for 33 years and also was a secretary for Bruce Baber Law Office.

Born January 31, 1959 in Decatur, Illinois, she was the daughter of Donald R. Goodwin and the late Glenda M. (Ruot) Goodwin. She married Charles Hampsten May 27, 2005 and he survives. Other survivors include her father Donald R. Goodwin of Paris, two daughters, Ashley Williams and her husband Stanley of Terre Haute, Indiana and Jessica Vance of Colorado Springs, Colorado, two step-children, Buffie Shelmadine of Tuscola, Illinois and Cory Hampsten, siblings; Greg Goodwin and his wife Sherry of Paris, Mark Goodwin and his wife Teri of Danville, Illinois, Phil Goodwin of Paris, Kara Brinkley and her husband Jeff of Paris, Susan Baty of Florence, Kentucky, and Andy Goodwin and his wife Holly of Paris, one grandchild Luke Aluta of Terre Haute, Indiana, six step-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Glenda M. Goodwin and a sister Julie Van Steenburg.

Visitation for Tina will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Following visitation, cremation is planned. Interment of the cremains will be held at a later date in Edgar Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
