Thomas William Fitzgerald, age 69, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 12:52 A.M. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Horizon Health in Paris.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Thomas was born on December 10, 1953 in Tuscola, Illinois to Joseph and Loretta (Mattingly) Fitzgerald. He spent 36 years of his life with, Shirley Irene Walker and she survives.

Thomas was a welder. He was a longtime member of A.B.A.T.E. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, going fishing and going on fishing trips in Canada. Thomas enjoyed putting up an elaborate Christmas lawn display. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his life partner, his son: Michael (Jessica) Walker of Paris, Illinois; his grandchildren: Drew Michelle Walker and Deven (Shelby) Walker; and his great granddaughter: Nevaeh Walker.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents.
