Talmadge Ray Plunkette, age 55 of Paris, passed away at 2:36 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute. He was a self-employed carpenter and carpet layer and a member of Kansas United Methodist Church. Born November 5, 1960 in Madisonville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Curtis Franklin and Shelby Jean (Moore) Plunkette. He married Twila Faye (Compton) Plunkette July 27, 1996 in Madisonville, Kentucky. She passed away October 10, 2012. Survivors include his children; Christopher Adam Brown of Albany, Oregon, Amanda (Travis) Bourland of Paris, and Douglas Ray Plunkette of Paris, two brothers, Timmy Plunkette of Dawson Springs, Kentucky and Tommy Plunkette of Eddyville, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Kansas United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
