Sue Sallee's Obituary
Sue Sallee, age 76 of Paris, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman. She was a United States Navy Veteran. Sue was a purchasing agent for Eastern Illinois University for 27 years and a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Born December 2, 1940 in Hindsboro, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Ford and Virginia (Van Voorhis) Honn. She married Don Sallee April 9, 1960; he passed away October 5, 1974. Survivors include a daughter Melissa Johnson of Homer, Illinois, three grandchildren; Allison Hissem of Paris, Illinois, Tyge Hissem of Paris, Illinois, and Kati Johnson of St. Joe, Illinois, two great grandchildren, Gracelee Jo Johnson of Paris, Illinois and Avery Grace Hissem of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jolie Mullen and a brother Clayton Honn. Visitation for Sue will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 10:00 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home.
