Sue E. Maynard's Obituary
Sue E. Maynard, age 66 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her residence. She was employed by Unarco for 17 years. Following her retirement she provided daycare. Sue enjoyed playing Bingo and she loved being a Grandma. She also was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
Born September 16, 1947 in Edgar County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late David Paul and Ellen Frances (Ward) Nicholson. Survivors include her children; Paula (Mike) Kemper, Billy Maynard, Jr. and Kelly (Harold Henson) Reed, all of Paris, Illinois, a special "daughter" Laura Whitaker of Paris, her best friend Donna Fessant of Paris, a brother David (Brenda) Nicholson of Ruston, Louisiana, three sisters Cindy (Bill) Martin of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Linda Seibert of Paris and Lisa (Mike) Garner of Paris, seven grandchildren; Courtney (John Marshall) Kemper, Brittany Kemper, Mariah Kemper, Billi Jo Maynard, Chase Reed, Alyssa Sue Ann Reed and Jordan Hogan, two great-granddaughters Abigail and Addison Marshall and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant grandson Allen Kemper, three brothers; Richard Nicholson, Robert Nicholson and infant Steve Nicholson, and five sisters; Sis Hopper, Jean Peterson, Kathy McMahan, Judy Nicholson and Barbara Nicholson.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.
