Stephen W. Haddix, age 81 of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away at 10:08 P.M. on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #211.

Stephen was born on October 13, 1943 in Paris, Illinois to Wendell E. Haddix Sr. and Alberta (Collier) Haddix.

Stephen proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was an aluminum worker at Novelis for 34 years and was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

He is survived by his children: Stephen Haddix (Trisha) of Terre Haute, Indiana and Christina Hall of Clinton, Indiana; his grandson, Andrew Haddix; and his siblings: Joe Haddix (Darlene) of Clinton, Indiana and Sherryl Inman of Kansas, Illinois.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, his son in law, Charlie Hall; his brothers, Winnie Haddix and Terry Haddix and an infant sister, Patricia Lynn Haddix.

Memorial contributions may be made Disabled American Veterans in memory of Stephen.
