Shirley Ann Arbuckle, age 86, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 12:44 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her residence.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2021 at the First Christian Church in Paris, Illinois. Burial was in Edgar Cemetery on Monday, November 8, 2021. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She was born October 7, 1936 in Edgar County, the daughter of the late Andrew Francis and Lorraine Maybell McGinnis Francis. She married John Samuel Arbuckle on January 19, 1957 at the First Christian Church in Paris. He preceded her in death.

Shirley was retired from the X-ray department at Paris Community Hospital, where she worked for 17 years. She was also a longtime and active member of the First Christian Church in Paris, part of Republican Women organization and  on the election board.

She is survived by her children: Sam Arbuckle of Paris, Illinois, Sue Parrish of Paris, Illinois, Carol Arbuckle of Paris, Illinois; her grandchild, Levi Parrish; her sister, Barbara Dooley; and her two nieces, Cindy Walker of Peoria and Lisa Kane of Texas.
