Sheryl Dianne Goodwin, age 61, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 3:10 P.M. on Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Sherry was born on February 4, 1961 in Paris, Illinois. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Nancy Lee (Peters) Garver. She married Greg Goodwin on June 3, 1978 at St. Mary's Church. He survives.

Sherry was an Assistant Program Coordinator at the YMCA. She loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband: Gregory J. Goodwin; her children: Joshua Adam (Bridget) Goodwin of Freelandville, Indiana, Amy Elizabeth (Jon) Simpson of Paris, Illinois, Bryant Michael (Brittany) Goodwin of Paris, Illinois; her siblings: Jeffrey (Lelia) Garver of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Michael (Julie) Garver of Paris, Illinois; her grandchildren: Hannah Grace Goodwin, Jaidyn Marie Simpson, Emily Elizabeth Goodwin, Hunter Michael Goodwin, Mikayla Layne Simpson, Kaedence Michelle Goodwin, Riley James Simpson, Benjamin Tyler Simpson, Alexander Blaine Simpson, Avereigh Skye Goodwin, Jackson Raymond Goodwin, and her sister in law, Carol Garver of Paris, Illinois.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth E and Nancy L. Garver, her brother Brady S. Garver, and 2 precious grandbabies.
