Sharon Pitts, age 80, of Paris, passed away at 3:03 A.M. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Bro. Nate Alexander officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Gardens.

Sharon was born on December 11, 1943, in Universal, Indiana, the daughter of Oscar and Doris Riley Hunt.

She married Roy Pitts on October 26, 1960. He precedes her in death.

Sharon spent many years as a cashier for local retail businesses, such as K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and Rural King. She was a long time and active member of Lake Ridge Christian Church in Paris.

She is survived by her son: Brent (Greta) Pitts of Paris; her siblings: Annebelle Cole of Clinton, Indiana and Marty Peters (Carrell) of Kansas, Illinois; her grandchildren: Kara (McKinley) Burton, Jessica Pitts, and Caleb Pitts.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her children: Connie Pitts and Barry Pitts; and her siblings: Bill Hunt and Brad Hunt.
