Scott Allan Jones, 45 of Paris, IL passed away at 10:27 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2017 at his home. He was employed at B and J Restaurant. Scott was a member of the General Baptist Church in Mattoon.

Following cremation a celebration of life will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday August 16, 2017 in the community room at the High Rise.

Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

He was born in Mattoon, April 15, 1972 the son of C. LeRoy and Rebecca Crispin Jones.

He is survived by his mother Becky Crispin of Paris; his father C. LeRoy Jones and step-mother Cindy Jones of Mattoon; his siblings: Kimberly Scales of Brocton, Jason Sluder of Marshall, Jean Cutright of Kansas, Robert Steele of Springfield, April Adams of Arcola; his aunt: Barbara Hamilton of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; several nieces and nephews; and good friends Vickie Evans of Paris, Jimmy Salsbury of Paris and Chuck Mc Claskey of Paris. Scott was preceded in death by a brother Kevin Lee Jones, four uncles Donald Crispin, Sheldon Crispin, Dennis Crispin and Michael Crispin, and his step-father Kevin Sluder.

Memorials may be made to Paris Lions Club for eye glasses for the blind.
