Ruth L. Hollingsworth Chenoweth Eveland age 66 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 5:28 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2013 at the St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the Receptionist at Grace Lutheran Child Development Center. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, the Friendship Guild, and the Steering Committee at the Lutheran Village. She enjoyed playing euchre and line dancing.

Ruth was born on October 27, 1946 in Danville, Illinois to the late Joe and Bernice (Bell) Hollingsworth. She married Darius Eveland on August 11, 2007 in Paris, Illinois and he survives.

She is survived by her daughters Tammy Hoult and Kim Chenoweth of Georgia, her son Eric Chenoweth and his wife Dana of Georgia, her sisters Nancy Grider of Indianapolis, Indiana and Peggy Sester of Danville, Illinois, and her grandchildren Taylor, Zach, Matthew, Corey, and Conner of Georgia.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Stewart & Carroll Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Paris, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Paris, Illinois with Pastor Ryan Fehrmann officiating.

Cremation is scheduled following the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Grace Lutheran Child Development Center in care of the funeral home.
