Rosemary Laroe age 96 passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2020 at Soddy Daisy Healthcare Facility in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. In keeping with Federal Mandates; the service is limited to immediate family only. Rev. Joe Tomich will be officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. She was born January 25, 1924 in Brocton, Illinois. Rosemary was the daughter of the late Leamon Ray and Elizabeth Mae Richardson Yount. She was a homemaker and a cook for a school cafeteria. Rosemary first married Max Cornwell on August 23, 1941 in St. Louis he preceded her in death on April 16, 1973, and then she married Dan Laroe August 1976 in Ivesdale, Illinois. Rosemary was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a loving grandmother and spent most of her life in Illinois, she then later moved to Tennessee. Rosemary belonged to the Eastern Star Chapter 7 of Paris, Illinois and was a member of the organization for over 50 years. She is survived by two children: Charles Max (Beverly) Cornwell of Stanford, Illinois, and Linda (Donald) Grotjan of Hixson, Tennessee, five grandchildren; Kim Leesman, Christine Williams, Craig Cornwell, Carissa Lozier and Lori Roth, and 10 great grandchildren; Max Leesman, Elle Leesman, Gage Leesman, Chyanne Cornwell, Crystal Cornwell, Kaylan Williams, Alyssa Lozier, Cameron Lozier, Marisa Roth Stewart and Alexis Roth, and one great great granddaughter; Ellie Stewart. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband's Max Cornwell and Dan Laroe, sister June Brown and a brother Lee Yount.
