Rosemary Sanqunetti Hopper, 83, of Paris, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.
A Rosary in Rosemary's honor is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., with a visitation to follow from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paris. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Rosemary was born on September 27, 1939, in Buck Township-Redmon, the daughter of the late Jerry and Marguerite Twigg Fitzgerald.
She married John Sanqunetti on September 1, 1956, they remained married until his death. Rosemary later married William Hopper on February 14, 2003. He precedes her in death.
Rosemary was a plant manager for the Northern Harvest Furniture Company, as well as spending 20 years with the Zenith Manufacturing Corporation. Outside of work, Rosemary was devout to her religion, and was active in the church. She spent several years as an active member of the Alter Society and the Koinonia Community. Rosemary also enjoyed having a drink and good conversation with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters: Anita (Rose) Gosnell and Diana (Tony) Haupt; Her grandchildren: Michelle (David) Lawlyes, Jason (Wendi) Gosnell, John McKown, and Jacob (Kaytlin) McKown; Her great grandchildren: Kyle Shivlar, Nathaniel Parker, and Elijah Gosnell. Rosemary is also survived by the Hopper children, which was her loving second family. Her bonus grandchildren include, Christiana (Michael) Wallace, Payge Myers, Paul (Lene) Myers, Parker (Alexis) Myers, and Abdullah Bensaeed.
She is preceded by 4 brothers, 1 sister, and her son Johnnie Saqunetti.
