Ronnie LaGrand, 70, of Paris, Il passed away at 3:44 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Il.

No services are scheduled at this time. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Ronnie was born June 12, 1954, to Clyde LaGrand Sr. and Easter Brooks LaGrand in Butler County, Kentucky.

He is survived by his lifelong friend and partner Lola Coonce and her four children: Brenda, Mary, Jessica and Brian, who he thought of as his own. His grandchildren: Sarah, Grant, Shelby, Andy, and four others. And a great granddaughter. His siblings: Sue, Betty, Anita, Tracy, Barb, and George. Several nieces and nephews.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Easter; both sets of grandparents; his brothers: James, Charles, Clyde Jr., Calvin, and three sisters at birth.

He was a hard worker. When he wasn't working, you could find him on the water fishing, or "junking". Although Ronnie had many hobbies that he loved, above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
