Ronnie "Joe" Johnson, age 72 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 2:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 in his residence. Mr. Johnson had been a machine operator for Boge North America. Born June 28, 1945 in Paris, Illinois, he was the son of the late John E. and Ruth L. (Webster) Johnson. He married Sherry Cannon April 4, 2005 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Survivors include his wife Sherry Johnson of Paris, Illinois, two children, Jeff Johnson and Holly Johnson, both of Paris, Illinois, two step-children, Angela Edmonds and her husband William Breneman of Paris, Illinois and Steven Edmonds of Charleston, Illinois, a brother Billie G. Johnson of Marshall, Illinois, two sisters, Linda K. Burtner and her husband Chuck of Marshall, Illinois and Sue L. Koutsoumpas of Mesa, Arizona, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Ronnie "Joey" Johnson, Jr. and two brothers Johnnie L. Johnson and Vernon F. Johnson.
