Robert James Mackey, 80 of Paris, IL passed away at 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He graduated from Paris High School in 1955.

He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria. He was a grain miller at Allied Mills, employed at Commercial Solvents and was an insurance agent all in Peoria.

A memorial graveside service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017at Edgar Cemetery. There is no visitation. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris assisted the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Edgar County Humane Society.

Robert was born September 7, 1936 in Peoria, IL the son of the late Henry J. and Mary B. Comiskey Mackey.

He married Glenna Johnson Mackey September 15, 1957 at the 1 ^st Baptist Church in Paris and she survives.

Bob is also survived by his sisters: Margaret Lucille Graley of Centralia and Eleanor Jean Mackey of Creve Coeur.

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Ronda S. Mackey; his brother: William J. Mackey and his sister Betty Mackey.
