Robert Gene Glidewell, age 68 of Danville, Illinois passed away at 1:50PM on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois.

No services are planned at this time. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert was born on July 17, 1956 to Robert Lee and Charlotte (Pennington) Glidewell.

He was a truck driver for many years and had a love for Alaskan Malamute dogs.

He is survived by his mother; his children: Robert Michael Glidewell and Lois Reynolds (Matt) ; several grandchildren, and his brother, Brad Glidewell (Holly).

Robert is preceded in death by his father, and his sister, Cherri Klinkow.
