Robert E. Farris, age 64, of Paris, passed away at 9:20 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Paris.

Robert was born on November 2, 1958, in Paris, Illinois., the son of Robert and June Aneka Brown Farris.

He worked in the maintenance department at Boge North America for many years. In his youth, Robert enjoyed being outside hunting and fishing. He also liked to work on and restore classic cars. Robert was the family "fix it guy". He was a history buff, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Robert was a wonderful cook and enjoyed tending to his garden.

Robert is survived by his daughter: Brittany Farris of Paris; his grandchildren: Aubree Leader, Alina Leader, Ryden Newman all of Paris; his sister: Kristi Sims of Paris; his nephews: Todd (Patty) Lewis, Matthew Lewis both of Paris; his great nieces and nephew; and his great-great nieces and nephew.

He is preceded by his parents; and sister: Bethany Lewis.
