Robert E. "Bob" Malaise, Jr.'s Obituary
Robert E. "Bob" Malaise, Jr. age 70 of Chrisman, Illinois passed away at 10:14 a.m., Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Paris Community Hospital, Paris. He was an engineer at the Edgar County Highway Department for 40 years. He was a member of the Chrisman United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hoult Cemetery.
Robert was born February 24, 1946 in Danville, Illinois, the son of the late Robert E. and Marjorie (Reeder) Malaise, Sr.
He married Elizabeth Lee (Vance) Malaise February 14, 1971 at the Edgar United Methodist Church.
Robert is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his daughter Amy Sue (Scott) Allison of Avon, Indiana, his grandchildren, Macaylee and Boedee Allison both of Avon, Indiana, his siblings; Cammie (David) Stanley of Rogersville, Missouri, Richard (Ann) Malaise of Arlington, Virginia, Rene (Lanna) Malaise of Mahomet, Illinois and Trudy (Jeff) Argubright of Oglesby, Illinois.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister Kay Morris.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chrisman Volunteer Fire Association or the Chrisman United Methodist Church.
