Richard Lee Brown, age 60, of Paris, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Paris, Illinois on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with a private burial to follow. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Richard was born on November 29, 1960 in Paris, Illinois, the son of the late Eldredge and Linda (Simpson) Floyd.

He married the love of his life Mary Ann Rigdon on December 11, 2001 in Paris, Illinois. She passed away December 4, 2015.

Richard enjoyed the simple things in life, like riding his bike and working on puzzles. He loved his pet parakeet, and loved people. He enjoyed talking with others to hear their stories.

He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Paris.

Richard is survived by his siblings: James Brown of Wisner, Nebraska, April Harmon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Wayne Floyd of Terre Haute, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Mary Brown; his parents: Eldredge and Linda Floyd; and an infant brother.
