Ralph S. Butler, age 97 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana. Mr. Butler was the manager of the Coca Cola Bottling Plant in Paris for 32 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving in WWII, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a member of American Legion Post 211, Prairie Masonic Lodge #77 AF & AM, Terre Haute Loyal Order of the Moose # 1009, Eastern Star Chapter 7, and Scottish Rite Valley of Danville.
Mr. Butler was born March 14, 1916 in Toledo, Illinois to the late Erskine and Cora (Steigmann) Butler. He married Katherine (Avery) Butler May 31, 1936 and she passed away January 9, 1989. He married Marcella (Cooper) Bright Butler April 13, 1996 and she survives.
Other survivors include his daughter Ranellda Bryan and her fiancé Eric Wirsching of Orlando, Florida, four grandchildren; Kelly Burkhardt of Meridian, Idaho, Stephen Butler and his wife Donna of Greenfield, Illinois, Mindy Mood and her husband Scott of Paris, Illinois and Heidi Mitchell and her husband Glen of Paris, Illinois, seventeen great grandchildren and a niece Katherine Louise Schulte and her husband Herb of Old Monroe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Katherine, a son David E. Butler, and two brothers, Howard Butler and Carl Butler.

Wake prayer services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. David Zimmerman officiating.
Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Charleston, Illinois.
Military graveside Honors will be provided.
