Philip Hill Church, age 76 of Tuscola, Illinois and formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Arthur Home in Arthur, Illinois. Mr. Church was the former owner of Church Insurance Agency in Paris.  He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the Paris Presbyterian Church, Kiwanis Club, Elks BPOE 812, American Legion Post 211, and Paris Community Hospital Board.

Born July 16, 1943 in Paris, he was the son of the late Frank Axson and Ida (Hill) Church. He married Amy Stoneburner August 27, 1988 at the Paris Presbyterian Church.  Survivors include his wife Amy Church of Tuscola, Illinois, daughters; Hannah Church of Peoria, Illinois, Sarah (Tony) Vitale of Tuscola, Illinois, and Amanda Lamb of Chicago, Illinois, two grandchildren, Peppe and Mia Vitale, and one sister Carol (Tom) Church Collier of Tuscola, Illinois.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.

Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 211. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthur Home.
