Pauline Fleming, age 96 of Paris, passed away at 11:07 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Paris Community Hospital. Mrs. Fleming was a homemaker, helped on the family farm, was a member of Bell Ridge Christian Church, and was a volunteer at Paris Community Hospital. Born August 18, 1921 in Norris City, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward and Lucy Marie (Beck) Harris. She married Harold Wayne Fleming in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1942; he passed away May 9, 1993. Survivors include two sons, James Fleming of Paris, and Harold W. Fleming, Jr. of Waycross, Georgia, several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Charlotte Ellen Collier, a sister Alberta Singleton, and a brother John Edward Harris. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Bro. Karl Marshall officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until service time Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.
