Paula Sue Kemper, age 57 of Paris passed away at 8:45 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at her home.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Edgar Cemetery.

Paula was born on August 24, 1966 in Paris, Illinois to Sue Ellen (Nicholson) Maynard. She married Michael Kemper in 1990 in Paris and he survives.

Paula was a homemaker and was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Paris. Paula loved her dog Roxie and her cat Tigger. She also enjoyed playing BINGO. Above all, she loved being grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, her children: Courtney Kemper (John), Brittany DeWeese (Lance), Mariah Kemper all of Paris; her best friend: Jennifer Abernathy; her grandchildren: Abigail Marshall, Addison Marshall, Elijah Edwards, Macelynn Kemper all of Paris; her sister: Kelly Young (Ryan) of Paris; her nieces and nephews: Chase Reed, Alyssa Reed, Billi Jo Maynard, Jordan Hogan; her aunts: Janice Nicholson, Paula Nicholson, Linda Siebert, Lisa Garner, Shirley Wilky, Connie VanHoutin, Sharon Evitt, Darlene (Sid) Justice; her uncles: David Nicholson, Bill Martin, and Bob Maynard.

Paula is preceded in death by her mother; her son Allen Kemper, and her brother: Billy Maynard Jr.
