Paul Victor Pine's Obituary
Paul Victor Pine, age 94 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Paris Community Hospital. He was a sales clerk for Art Reese Lumber Company. Mr. Pine was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, a member of VFW Post 3601, and American Legion Post 211. Born August 2, 1921, he was the son of the late Fred B. and Jennie May (McConchie) Pine. He married Frieda (Stepp) Pine July 22, 1944 in Paris and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Ron Pine of Redmon, Illinois and Greg Pine of Paris, Illinois, a brother Ed Noel of Paris, Illinois, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Pine and Glenn Pine. Visitation for Mr. Pine will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 211 and VFW Post 3601. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
