Pamela K. Fleming, age 72, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 11:28 A.M. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Edgar Cemetery in Paris. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pam was born on April 15, 1950 in Paris, Illinois to the late Harry A. and Martha Grace (Reed) Downs. She married James Douglas Fleming in Paris on April 10, 1970. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2019.

Pam loved her girls and devoted herself to them and their activities. She was proud to host family holiday gatherings. She enjoyed spending time with her family and helping on the farm. Pam loved the outdoors, planting flowers, going fishing, mushroom hunting, and mowing. When she wasn't outside, she enjoyed playing games, cards, and games of chance.

She is survived by her children: Dawn Henness of Paris, Illinois, Laura (Bill) Woodard, of Paris, Illinois, Cindy (Rick) Roberts of Damon, Texas; her grandchildren: Dalton Henness, William Woodard III, Elizabeth Woodard, Chelsie Stalnaker, Katie (Cody) Haverfield, Kyle Roberts, James Roberts, and her great grandchildren: Maximus Haverfield, and Kylee Stalnaker.

Pam is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings: Donnie Downs, Harry Downs Jr., Terry Downs, Patty Spillman, and Billy Bob Downs.
