Owen Wade Winkler passed away at 5:35 AM on April 3rd at Carle Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday April 13th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 705 Clinton Rd. Paris, IL. Funeral service will immediately follow at the Kingdom Hall with David Patterson officiating. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Owen was born August 3rd 1962 in Paris, IL to Lloyd and Betty (Blaker) Winkler. He married Penny Gail Wright on January 2nd 1987 at the Embarrass Church in Redmon, IL.

Owen worked for the City of Paris in the Water Department for almost 30 years until he retired to fulfill his dream of owning an auto mechanic garage. When not at work Owen would volunteer his time as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in ministry work and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Penny Winkler, his children: Ashley (Daniel) Jones of Chrisman, IL, Jeremy (Christina) Winkler of Charleston, IL, Zachary Winkler of Mattoon, IL, Tabatha Baugh of Mattoon, IL; his 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and his siblings: Jenny Uselman of Paris, Illinois, Ernest Winkler of Marshall, Illinois, John Winkler of Clinton, Indiana, and Brian Winkler of Marshall, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and his brother Daniel Winkler.
