Mike Leon Richey, Sr., age 62, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 6:24 P.M. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

A visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.

Mike was born March 23, 1959 in Paris, Illinois. He was the son of Leonard Leon Richey and the late Lurlie Ellen (Prater) Brown.

Mike was a truck driver. He loved going to classic car shows and watching drag races. Mike loved riding his motorcycle, especially when going to Moonshine and getting a burger with his family. He also served his country as a member of the United States Army.

He is survived by his father, Leonard Leon Richey of Paris, Illinois; his children: Soundra (Travis) Clymer of Terre Haute, Indiana, Michael L. (Raylene) Richey Jr. of Mooreland, Indiana; his step-daughter, Jennifer Lopez (Tosh); 9 grandchildren, his siblings: John Richey of Paris, Illinois, Sandy Wells of Paris, Illinois, his aunt Hazel Woods; several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.
