Melissa Winkler, age 54 of Paris, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.

Melissa was born on July 6, 1970, in Clinton, Indiana to Wayne and Phyllis (Finney) Burchett. She married William Winkler, and he survives.

Melissa was a registered nurse for many years.

She is survived by her husband, her son, Kyle Burchett; her granddaughter: Brennyn Hartman, and her siblings: Wendy Boyles (William), Scottie Burchett (Amanda), and Douglas Burchett (Lisa).

Melissa is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Burchett.
