Maxine Anne Board, age 88 of Paris, IL passed away at 4:25 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Twin Lakes Rehabilitation Center in Paris. She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She was employed at CBS in Terre Haute, IN and retired June 1, 1983.

Services are at 12 p.m., noon, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

Maxine was born October 19, 1927 in Paris the daughter of the late Ray and Cleo Lee McCrocklin Waltz.  She first married Robert Earl Bell and he passed away October 26, 1945. She later married Denzell Sherman Board, Sr., September 9, 1946 in Scottland and he passed away August 16, 1999.

Maxine is survived by her children: Roberta Rinehart of Paris, Linda (Greg) Vice of Ladoga, IN, and Gordon (Jean) Board of Paris; her brothers Lawrence "Bud" Waltz of Paris and Andrew Waltz of Paris, her 12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by her 2 sons: Denzell Sherman Board, Jr. and George Allen Board and her siblings: Jim Waltz, Ray Waltz, John Waltz, Marcella Branson, Genevieve Bartlett, Margaret Bartlett and Carolyn Arbuckle.
