Mary Jane Schaefer, age 90, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 1:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Life's Journey in Paris, Illinois.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Edgar Cemetery. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born June 2, 1931 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of the late Hollie Earnest Weaver and Grace Etta Campbell Weaver. She married Vincent F Schaefer, Jr. on May 30, 1956 in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2010.

During her years, Mary was a telephone operator for 15 years and a dispatcher for 14 years. She was also a longtime member of the Horace Baptist Church in Chrisman, Illinois.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Hollie and Grace Weaver, and her sister Harriett Weaver.
