Mary A. Rule, age 91 of Indianapolis, Indiana and formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was formerly a teller at Edgar County Bank in Paris, and also was a homemaker.

Born September 3, 1928 in Paris, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Bright) Whitton. She married Thomas A. Rule July 16, 1950 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Paris. Mr. Rule passed away December 21, 2012.  Survivors include a daughter Chris (Earl) Smalbach of Indianapolis and a grandson Thomas Maxwell Smalbach of Indianapolis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Betty Lobb.
