Mary Jane Rhoads Washburn, age 84 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 10:01 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in her residence. She was a press operator for Unarco and also worked at Zenith Corp. She was a member of Lake Ridge Christian Church. Born August 11, 1930 in Paris, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Pearl (Wilson) Tweedy. She married Donald J. Rhoads January 27, 1951 and he passed away February 5, 1985.  She then married Vern Washburn, who preceded her in death.   Survivors include her children; Stephen J. (Gloria) Rhoads of Ashland, Illinois, Michael R. (Carla) Rhoads of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Elizabeth A. Henson of Robinson, Illinois, Martha J. (Danny) Gosnell of Paris, Illinois and Donna J. Rhoads of Collinsville, Illinois, two sisters, Marian Walker of Paris, Illinois and Lola Joyner of San Antonio, Texas, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Ann Brock and two brothers, Donald Tweedy and James Tweedy.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home with Bro. Nate Alexander officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
