Mary E. Gosnell, age 97 of Paris, Illinois passed away at 3:35 A.M. on Monday, January 5, 2026 at The Haven of Paris.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Memorial Gardens in Paris with Bro. Karl Marshall officiating.

Mary was born on June 5, 1928, in Newton, Illinois to Raymond and Cletus (Mendenhall) Sinclair. She married Ray Gosnell and he preceded her in death.

Mary was homemaker and longtime member of Lake Ridge Christian Church. She found joy in reading, tending to her flowers, birdwatching and feeding birds, and watching all sports.

She is survived by her children: Rick Gosnell (Stephanie), Dennis Gosnell (Lisa), Tim Gosnell (Debbie), Debra Gosnell; her sister, Jean Harvey, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sisters: Helen Patton and Louella Ginder.
