Mary H. Garman, 59 of Covington, Indiana and formerly of Edgar County, Illinois, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Mary was a Vocational Coordinator for VASE and had formerly worked at Cunningham Children's Home.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville, Illinois.  She enjoyed gardening and was great lover of flowers, and also loved the St. Louis Cardinals.

Born March 10, 1960 in Paris, Illinois, she was the daughter of Joseph R. and Betty L. (Wallace) McGinness. She married Michael J. Garman April 3, 2004 in Danville, Illinois and he survives.  Also surviving are her mother, Betty L. McGinness of Redmon, Illinois, two children, Hannah J. Reeley of St. Louis, Missouri and Tanner W. Reeley of West Lafayette, Indiana, and five sisters Joyce Clapp of Toledo, Illinois, Debbie (Jim) Watters of Paris, Illinois, Becky Newcomer of Redmon, Illinois, Joan Wamsley of Paris, Illinois, and Jeanne McGinness of St. Louis, Missouri.  She was preceded in death by her father Joseph R. McGinness.

Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
